History

With the founding of NSC Holding GmbH & Cie. KG in 2003 the managing Directors Roberto Echevarria und Dirk Rößler combined their experience gathered during decades in the shipping industry in their own new shipping company.

Being an international working company NSC has earned the respect and trust of its customers by the provision of tailor-made services and first-class vessel management.

The core competences of the shipping company ist the technical management as well as the chartering out of their fleet which today counts 61 vessels and which is consisting of container vessels with capacities ranging from 1.100 upto 5.100 teu, multi-purpose vessels, bulkers, con-bulkers as well as car carriers and tankers.

The vessels are deployed world-wide by various charter operators with whom close strategic and partly also long term partnerships do exist. Also with some ship financing bank houses the company enjoys very close and trustful co-operations in realizing their mutual projects. Furthermore intensive business relationships with two of the leading financing houses in Hamburg combined with the co-operation of their strong distribution partners complete the organization of the company.

A highly motivated team of shipping professionals, captains and engineers with many years of international experience ensures the smooth operation of the fleet.  Skilled expert staff ashore is in charge of the smooth commercial working procedures.

The shipping company’s place of business is in the building “Dockland” in Hamburg.
